I "Pink" I Can ~ 2012

Last October, we created a post sharing ways for our followers to support Breast Cancer Research.  At the time, not knowing that this frightening and life changing disease would hit much closer to home than we could ever expect.

Needless to say this year, October has a whole new meaning.  We cannot express how important it is to check, check and check again. Early detection is definitely key in survival. Here are some ways to shop and show your support and spread hope and courage to women out there impacted by this disease.  Every little bit helps ~ Ladies, WE NEED A CURE.

The bra above from Aerie is $35. From Oct. 1 - 8, Aerie will donate $1 from the sale of every bra, up to $50,000, to Bright Pink www.brightpink.org, a charity that provides education and support for young women at high risk getting Breast Cancer.

The Walking Company has an exclusive on this UGG Australia Bailey Button pink boot. Through October, it's pledging 5% of the $164.95 purchase price to City of Hope  www.cityofhope.org.

Tory Burch is donating 15%, of the purchase of this $48 item, to The Breast Cancer Research Foundation up to a maximum donation of $15,000. The BCRF is dedicated to preventing breast cancer and finding a cure in our lifetime by funding clinical and translational research worldwide. New Balance will contribute 5% of the suggested retail price of sales from the Lace Up for the Cure Collection with a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000 each year to Susan G. Komen through 2012. The shoes retail for $89.

Sonia Kashuk partnered with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation since its inception in 1993. She donates 15% of the proceeds from the Proudly Pink Brush Set, $14.99 sold at Target, to BCRF.
