Recently, during a consultation, a Groom-to-Be asked, "Why do we really need a wedding planner?" Love this question because the recipient of the answer usually isn't ready for all we have to say! LOL! And more often then not, we end up accidentally double-teaming the poor person. LOL!

We are SO passionate about what we do and the services we offer.

Wedding planners serve as many jobs while they work with you.  Shoulders to cry on, friends, sisters and sometimes even moms. We serve as a buffer in tricky relational situations. You can't make everyone happy in every situation. We sometimes tell our brides, "Just blame it on us! Tell them the planner said it." A planner is a safe neutral person to point to for direction. It’s easier to tell your future mother-in-law, “My planner thinks we need to…” instead of “I want it…"

#6 ~ Don't Fall For It!

There are MANY fabulous venues in South Florida! The GOOD venues will be honest and tell you that they do not offer detailed wedding planning services.  What most of them have is a Catering Manager under the title of Wedding Coordinator. This person is NOT the same as an independent planner. He or she is the venue’s catering manager and their job is to make sure that everything having to do with the facilities runs smoothly. While they are helpful, they do not cover the scope of what an independent planner does.

Wedding Planners have a wealth of knowledge about the Wedding Industry. Including which vendors can be trusted and which have good business practices. There are so many vendors to choose from, how do you know who to trust? ~VERY IMPORTANT~

We provide our clients with a detailed timeline so specific that other vendors rave about it.  At just about every wedding a DJ, or photographer, even caterer compliments us on our attention to detail.  They are even more surprised at the end of the night when they see how the timeline played itself out.  It's one of our prized possessions.  A good wedding planner loves their timeline! We live for ours! ;-)

You don’t want to end up being the point person for issues and questions that will inevitably arise. And yes, issues arise!
