We like to compare the process of planning a wedding to going to school! We love sharing this comparison with our clients.  Who hasn't been to school?! LOL! You were either the student that paid attention, participated, and asked questions. Or you sat in the back of the classroom and doodled, wondering how to stay off of punishment on report card day! YIKES!

Well the same goes with wedding planning. We try to get our couples to understand that they must be active participants in the planning of their wedding!!!  We as the planners (i.e. teachers) will guide, instruct, and give unlimited planning tips and tidbits of advice. In turn, clients should ask questions and use the tools given to help create and plan the wedding.

Lastly, when teachers give their class tips and pointers to help students learn a lesson or pass a test, the same can compare to wedding planning advice. Listen!! You have hired your planner and now you have to trust them. If your planner says, "We wouldn't suggest hiring a chef that has never done a wedding, DON'T. If we say, please don't use your brother's-friend's-cousin to deejay, 

PLEASE DON'T.  Some of you may giggle, but we are very serious. ;-)

When you look back and reflect on your wedding day, will you say confidently that you were at the "head of the class?" ~ xo!
