THE Most Welcoming Welcome Bag Ever!

Style Me Pretty

More now, than ever before, our clients are asking us for advice on Welcome Bags.
What are they?
Should we purchase them for our guests?
What goes inside of them?

A Welcome Bag (Basket or Box) is a sweet way to welcome your out of town friends and family members to your wedding or special event. Your guests will enjoy sorting through your thoughtful, hand-picked, bag of goodies, as they unpack and unwind from their long trip. What an awesome way to personalize your event and show your appreciation at the same time!

Here are some of our suggestions to help you WOW & WELCOME:

Extend!
Make your Welcome Bags an extension of your wedding.
Is your wedding on a farm? Maybe use large wicker baskets?
On the beach, treat guests to a large straw tote!
Having a modern soiree? Sweeten the deal with acrylic boxes.
Getting married on a yacht? What about using a burlap container?
Choose something that extends the vibe of your wedding.

Snack Time!
Something salty. Something sweet. Something chocolate and something to drink!
If you remember these four things, you're on your way to the most Welcoming Welcome Bag Ever! LOL! Try including snacks that are local to your area.
Keep into consideration, whether the bag will be shared by a couple or a family.

Pamper!
Spoil your guests with items that make them feel comfortable. Items such as: small bottles of shower gel and/or lotion, lip balm, sunglasses, flip-flops, sunscreen, eye masks, and anything else you can think of!
Get creative!

The PLAN!
This is your chance to share cards or notes informing guests of what to expect during their stay for your wedding!  The added information can include items such as welcome cocktail times or rehearsal and rehearsal dinner locations and attire.  Maybe include a local map, magazine or fun touristy attractions info.

Individualize & Personalize!
The bottom line is, don't be pressured to do what everyone else does! This is your wedding! Do what you want to do! Think of ways to stand out and add a twist to traditions.  Maybe the two of you share a love for comic books! Throw a few into your bags.  Isn't this really what a wedding is about?
