3 Ways to Cut That Guest List
Create a full list of everyone you want to invite. Then break up the list into 3 groups.
A: I can't get married without them!
B: Don't neeeeed them there, but the will be missed.
C: Cool, fun person but don't need to see them at my wedding. (We know it sounds mean, but we all know people like this. :-)
Reconsider inviting kids, plus-ones and work colleagues.
Kids meals can be costly. Plus-ones: You are not obligated to invite your uncle's girlfriend of two weeks. (Sorry!) Work colleagues: If you left your job tomorrow, would you still talk to this person?
Set List Rules and Don't Break Them
Trust us. Using them will help to avoid the drama that may come up later. Don't invite:
A: if neither of you has spoken to this person in two/three years and they aren't related.
B: if you're doing it just because you attended their wedding years ago.
C: if you think they wouldn't possibly come so you just send them an invitation to "be nice."
You'll be surprised how many of those "definitely nots" become "for sures!"
D: Don't invite people out of guilt.

Engaged! Melissa and Matt
Matt proposed to Melissa while she was completing a very stressful "internship"! She was well on her way to becoming a talented pharmacist and simply did not have the time (or sanity) to plan her wedding. This Bride-to-be was born and raised in South Florida, but currently lives in Chicago, which is where Matt and Melissa met. Melissa really wanted to have her wedding back home in South Florida, which is where we came in. :-)
Happy Planning Melissa and Matt!

MUST READ: Wedding Planning Mistakes
We first did this blog post back in February 2013. Mistakes engaged couples make while wedding planning. We thought we'd update it, but in our eyes, the mistakes haven't really changed that much over the past two years. Lol!
10~ Not setting a budget and/or ignoring the word budget. It needs to be done no matter how big or small so Just Do It!
(you have to do this right from the start)
9~ Getting too many people involved in the planning process.
You know who we're talking about... :-)
You know who we're talking about... :-)
(too many chefs in the kitchen is always bad)
8~ Not interviewing the MC/DJ to match your personality!! And forgetting that not all DJ's are cut out to be Wedding DJ's. Yes, there is a difference!
(the music and emcee can make or break a wedding)
7~ Not hiring a Wedding Planner or at least a Day of Coordinator!!
(have you heard the horror stories from brides that didn't have a professional to iron out the issues that arise? yes, there may be issues)
6~ Thinking it couldn't rain on your outdoor wedding in South Florida...
(we are born and raised Florida girls, it rains often)
5~ Forgetting to add personality and pizazz to your wedding.
(don't be boring and do what everyone else already did)
4~ Deciding not to hire professional vendors. UGH!
(very important, serious face emoji goes here! no joke!)
3~ Being inconsiderate with others, i.e. vendors, bridal party, family. This is HUGE.
A simple hi, hello, and thank you go a LONNNG way!
A simple hi, hello, and thank you go a LONNNG way!
(yes, everyone understands it's your day. please don't scream it at the top of your lungs!)
2~ Not setting a clear vision of what you want.
(communication is key)
1~ Losing perspective of what a wedding is really about!

Delray Beach Wedding ~ Laura and Ryan are Married!
Laura and Ryan are married!
SO happy to share the festive wedding of Laura and Ryan! Laura contacted us a few months before her wedding. Like most brides, she was feeling anxiety over the coordination of the actual wedding day. Who would oversee vendors? Who would set up the popcorn bar and more importantly, who would set up all of her delightfully cute DIY projects? Well, she chose LLE and we are so happy to have shared Laura and Ryan's special day held at the Old School Square in Delray Beach!
The colors of the dresses really POP and make you smile! This was a super fun wedding party! Which totally reflected the personalities of Laura and Ryan! They came to have fun and it showed!
Can you guess why these girls look so happy? Well yes because there friend is getting married but they also got to pick their own dresses! Dresses they feel beautiful in and can wear again! #AllSmiles
Love the personalized straws! We did mention fun right? LOL!
Paper bouquets, ribbon backdrop... need we say more??
Meaningful touches are what make your wedding YOUR wedding!
Glitter confetti, yellow flowers and homemade jam ~ Just a few of our favorite things... The bride's too!
At the end of the night, the wedding went off without a hitch, Laura and Ryan were happily married, and everyone had a fantastic time! Isn't that really what it's all about?
