Our Bridal Bestie program is amazing! Reasons why you may need one....
~WE ARE SIMPLY TOO BUSY
As wedding planners, we were not hired to fetch coffee for the bridal party or to find Aunt Jackie for the family photo or to stop by Macy's to pick up the mother of the bride's favorite lipgloss.
*We do however oversee and direct an entire wedding day from start to finish. We are greeting vendors (or as I try to refer to them: wedding professionals) as they arrive onsite. We are sole the point of contact for all wedding professionals for the entire day. And that’s just the first few hours of the day! While the couple is busy getting ready and spending time with friends and family, this is what we are doing. We are diligently executing the days events, no matter how small or large. NO mater how planned or unplanned (EEEK!) Let's not even begin to talk about perfectly executing the (what we like to call) hustle and flow of the ceremony and reception.*
~THIS IS WHAT THE MAID OF HONOR AND BRIDESMAIDS ARE FOR
and if you don't have a reliable one then you definitely need a Bridal Bestie!
*We think that sometimes bridesmaids forget that their role is to support and assist the bride. That includes pre-wedding, wedding, and post-wedding. They should have the bride's back. They should be her crew. Some might even say, her posse! Most likely, they have been in her life for a good amount of time. At least one of them knows Aunt Jackie and can grab her for that family photo op. They are the ones who are supposed to be helpers to the bride or who grab her a coffee or even a glass of wine if she’s wants it. They’re job is to attend to and support the bride. Period.*
Lesson of the Day: We know firsthand that great wedding planners go above and beyond to make their clients happy. (You don't become multiple award winning planners without this knowledge. LOL!) BUT, we also know that in order to execute a truly amazing wedding that meets your needs and lives up to your expectations, you have to remember that unless it's directly related to the actual logistics of wedding planning and wedding coordination, it is not the responsibility of the wedding planner. Ask us about our Bridal Bestie program. You won't regret it. :-)
Love and Celebrations! ~ LLE
