We LOVE that our couple created a hashtag for their gorgeous July wedding in Miami!
The guests loved it! And the couple loved being able to see the wedding through the eyes of their friends and family members. Now, there are two sides of this "Social Media Soiree." Some feel that people need to get with it! Everything revolves around Social Media: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Just about everyone has at least one, if not two, of these accounts. Some couples realize that people love to share with their friends or followers, so they embrace it.

On the other side of the debate, are couples who post signs for guests to put away their phones and cameras. Some have even asked ushers to collect phones in baskets, to be returned after the ceremony. (And no the Bride and Groom were not celebrities! LOL!) Some couples feel that they have invested a lot of money into hiring professional photographers and videographers. They don't want them ruined by friends or family members standing in the aisle snapping iPhone pics and getting in the way of the professionals. #PutItAway #TurnThem Off
