Sweet Minted! ~ LLE Minted Ambassadors

We swoon over beautifully styled invitation. Some invitations really are mini pieces of art! So last May when we were welcomed into Minted's new Wedding Ambassador program we were thrilled. While a little nervous, we have learned so much about the program and are thrilled to announce that we will continue to participate in the program throughout 2016.  As proud Minted Wedding Ambassadors, our couples receive LLE Minted perks and promotions.

We love that Minted, is that they are a community of artists from around the world. Their invitations are not available at traditional retailers. We also like that every invitation suite is completely customizable. Almost everything can be customized: color, font, silhouette, paper type, monogram and even illustrations. They even offer letterpress and gold foiled invitations. Swooooon!

Engaged!! Kay and Gary

So excited to share the engagement of Kay and Gary! After meeting through a mutual friend at an outdoor concert, Kay and Gary's friendship continued to grow. The courtship began at a fun-loving, first date at Santa's Enchanted Forest. They later returned, where they became engaged! Kay and Gary kept the fun going when they had their engagement shoot at the Boca Express Train Museum.  True kids at heart!

We are thrilled to be able to assist them in the planning of their January wedding. Taking place at the Deer Creek Country Club in Deerfield Beach, this wedding is SURE not to disappoint! The couple is pulling out all the stops to ensure their friends and families have a BLAST!

Congrats kiddos! ;-)

Get The Party Started... Right?

Newlyweds are always looking for a new and creative way to "Get the PARTY started," after their wedding ceremony. And why shouldn't they? Cocktail hours are like the appetizer to the main course of the evening. They are a prelude to what is to come during the evening. Make yours memorable!

"I Spy"
LoftLifePress on Etsy
Let the games begin at the cocktail hour by placing these out for guests to join in on the fun!

Say CHEESE!
The Art of Weddings
Instead of a traditional wedding guest book, ask guests to take photos of themselves using a Polaroid camera then write comments on the space below the photo. We did this for our parent's 30th Anniversary Party! It was a huge hit with their guests. After, we glued them into a pretty book for them to read at anytime.

Save Face(s)!
Ruffled Media
Hire a caricature artist to sketch quick photos of wedding guests. They really enjoy posing for them and they have a favor to take with them after.

Raise the Bar!
Grey Likes Weddings
Whether it's a Brandy Bar, Wine-Tasting Bar, or Lemonade Bar, treat your guests to
a "drink-perience". Maybe even hire an entertaining bartender that has some tricks up his, or her, sleeve to wow guests!

Make the Night Sweet? Or Semi-Sweet!

Give your guests a taste of something sweet with a Cookie Bar! Who doesn't like a quick cookie treat before dinner! LOL!

Get them Dancing all the way to their seats!
Pinterest
Hire a Junkanoo Band to get your reception started. Live entertainment is a great way to get guests in the dancing mood.

Married!! ~ Merlyn and Georges

We are so excited to congratulate Meryln and Georges! When Merlyn contacted us about a little over a year ago for Day of Coordination, we were thrilled! Merlyn is one of THE most detail-oriented brides we have ever met.  She researched, planned and had the wedding of her dreams and we are so happy to have assisted throughout the year and to have been apart of it all!  ~ xo!

Social Media Soirée

Okay, so we KNOW just about THE entire world is partially, if not fully, obsessed with some form of Social Media! Whether you are an Instagrammer, Facebooker, or a total Tweetheart, just about everyone from teens to grandparents have one, if not all, of these accounts.  Social media at weddings is really becoming the norm. One of our fave ideas is a DIY photo wall at a cocktail hour or reception. Set up a backdrop, have some fun photo props available, and watch your guets pull out their phones! Because let's face it, most guests like to take pics of themselves partying with friends and family to post on Instagram or Facebook. They'll love it!

What better way to introduce our new Social Media Wall service than celebrating
the Playoff Wins of our Miami Heat! Let's GO!

#HeatFansforLIFE

Be sure to ask us how you can do Social Media at your wedding!

Nora and Umberto Make Waves!

Whoa! Nothing could prepare us for Nora!
What a beautiful person inside and out! We love Nora, her unique style and her desire to surround herself with fun, friends, and family.  Nora and Umberto hosted their wedding in Key Largo at the Marriott Bay Beach Resort.  The same weekend that Hurricane Sandy skirted the coast of Florida.  We were nervous that we would get bands of rain~ NOPE! Not a drop on this gorgeous afternoon wedding. A little windy, but gorgeous.  A few last minute changes with the ceremony programs and florals and Voila! The show went on!

Nora's dress... BEAUTIFUL! Nora designed this dress and it was handmade in Haiti, with the beautiful fabric flown in from France. Nora loved her dress but right as she was about to walk down the aisle, the nerves, about what people would think, kicked in. Chanda looked her right in the eye and said, "Nora, you are going to walk down that aisle in this gorgeous dress and OWN it!" And boy did Nora take this advice.  She was stunning and everyone on that beach knew it. The look on Umberto's face said it all.

The bridesmaids were stunning! The unique, vibrant colors of this wedding truly represented the passion and love this couple shares for one another. Their guests left this destination wedding full of laughter, happiness and excitement.  (How could you not!) So much fun was had by all the party continued well into the late night! LOL!

(Sneak Peek!)

Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Mautone! We wish you all the best as husband and wife!

Jessica and David, Say I Do!

In July, we celebrated the love of Mr. and Mrs. Jessica and David Vasquez! Their beautiful wedding took place at the Miami Springs Country Club.  As we were there greeting vendors and overseeing ceremony and reception set-up, the sky opened up and rain showered the outdoor ceremony site. A quick move inside and the show went on! The flowers by Lulu were gorgeous! Arrangements of hydrangeas and bright yellow roses adorned the rooms. The brides bouquet was stunning, filled with yellow and white lilies.

Mr. and Mrs. Vasquez~ All SMILES!

Their colors of blue and yellow were perfect the perfect backdrop for this Summer wedding. Guests sipped "Mint to Be" Mojitos, the couples signature drink, throughout the evening. Their guests had a fun evening full of love, laughter, and NON-STOP dancing!

Special thanks to the amazing vendors who helped to make this wedding such a huge success!
